Dr. Nittin Gohil grew up in Toronto, Ontario and began his studies at the University of Guelph. He then travelled to Manipal, India to obtain a dental surgery degree. In 2005, Dr. Gohil graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, U.S..
He moved to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories after graduating and has since been practicing and providing dental services to various communities around the North.
Dr. Gohil currently practices at his newly opened Birchwood Dental Clinic in Yellowknife, but also serves as the NWT Department of Health and Social Services Oral Health Consultant, working on the current strategic oral health initiative. In addition to this role, Dr. Gohil is also the Territorial Clinical Lead for Oral Health for the Northwest Territories Health & Social Services authority.
